There’s nothing quite like seeing a newborn baby. It’s magical. How someone so tiny and vulnerable can have everyone in the room stop and stare. It was such a joy to meet baby Romilly at the weekend who was only 11 days old. 11 days, that’s just mental. It was also wonderful catching up with old friends who I hadn’t seen in such a long time. I brought Isabelle with me, and my friend Becky and her daughter Lily also came. So lovely to have a natter, whilst I was snapping away and the kids were running around playing electric guitars and hide and seek. Kate’s other half Rob had his mum and nan there too, so it really was quite a full house! Yet Romilly seemed totally relaaaaaxed (most of the time) as we were all chattering around her. I actually couldn’t stop taking photos she was so lovely, I kept putting my camera away, then whipping it out again. I would have stayed all day if I could! My biggest thanks to Rob & Kate for allowing me to meet their gorgeous new babe and to snatch a few of those precious moments that just go by too fast….
