It was a pleasure meeting Gemma, Sarah and Tanya at Friday’s Musical Monkeys session in Dodford; they were so welcoming and full of energy for the morning’s session. As ten o’clock approached, mums, dads, and grandparents started making their way into the village hall, and just kept on coming! I was really surprised at how many people arrived, I don’t think there was a spare seat in the hall. It was really refreshing to see how loyal everyone was to this group, and how Gemma, Sarah and Tanya knew everyone there by name. The little ones were all ready to go, spot on 10am for musical entertainment, and they weren’t disappointed! Tanya did a brilliant job at getting them all involved in the singing and dancing. Half an hour later, the adults were in need of a little pick-me-up and yummy goodies like chocolate fudge cake, tiffin, and mini fairy cakes were on offer with a splash of tea. Mmmmmmm. After a natter with friends and cake consumed, it was time for some more dancing and singing, before ending the session with lots and lots of bubbles, much to everyone’s delight!

Thank you so much for having me come along, it was a joy to see so many happy faces. To see the entire album click here.
