Ashleigh-May & James at Notley Abbey

Oh the pure gorgeousness of it all! My eyes weren't big enough to take in every single detail of beauty, it was just overwhelming. I arrived for the first time at Notley Abbey, and as I was driving there it was like driving back in the past, as my old house was about 10 minutes away. I hadn't been to this part of the countryside for years, and felt all nostalgic and happy.

There was so much to see and I just didn't know where to start first in my excitement. The staff at Notley Abbey were so wonderful and helpful, and I was thrilled to see Georgianna again along with Rebecca, one of my beautiful brides from last year, setting up the flower arrangements. I probably spent too much time chatting away in my excitement and quickly went back to see the girls getting ready!

There was so much going on and everyone was excited with music playing and bubbles flowing. Ashleigh's aunties were on hand to help, and Ashleigh looked breathtaking in her dress. She had created so much of the details with so much care and love, the venue looked stunning.

The ceremony was beautiful and the decorating and styling was like something from a bridal magazine! After being promised rain, we stepped outside to the most glorious sunshine and everyone soaked up the sun with drinks and yummy little canapes!

With speeches during every course, Ashleigh and James were amazing at dashing outside for 10 minute intervals to catch some moments before the evening rain came. Again, the rain didn't come and later everyone spilled outside to enjoy their drinks in the gorgeous summer evening air.

The day went beautifully, and it was wonderful working with Alex and Becky from Tie the Knot films who are so incredibly talented and down to earth. A wonderful day for a most wonderful couple xx
