Emma + Stu's Happily Ever After...

I never thought I would photograph weddings. Ever. The idea of being totally responsible for capturing a couple so in love and having just one day to do it always filled me with a few butterflies. I've been incredibly humbled when couples have asked me to photograph their weddings based on previous photos I have already taken for them, or of their friends and family. It's really a wow moment. I've done quite a few weddings now, and each one is so unique and beautiful, being asked to photograph that special day is just an incredible experience and one that I love doing.

Emma and Stu got married at Chicheley Hall- I was totally blown away by it!! (And also the wind and rain on the day... not so great!). But as Emma said to me a few days before her wedding, there was nothing we could do about mother nature! Luckily the weather gods were kind to us, and we had spells of sunshine amongst the torrential rain showers!

I was SO excited when I started looking through the photos, and it was an incredible task to make my final selection for the gallery viewing. I completely relived the day as I was piecing it all together, and even laughing again at the Best Man's speech as he had everyone is complete hysterics.

The day after I emailed the link I got a phonecall from Emma's mum to thank me for the work I had done. I just can't put into words how happy that made me feel, knowing I had made so many people happy. I had the loveliest email from Emma thanking me, and it just ended a most perfect day (I was gloriously shopping in Bicester village with my mum, so the day was already top-notch!).

All in all, perfection. It couldn't have gone better than if I had staged the whole thing myself! Such a happy, beautiful family. I am so thankful to Emma and Stu for entrusting me with photographing their most special day together. Xx

My photography is very relaxed, I am there to capture those little details, the looks, the smiles, the things that are missed. These tiny, but important little details are those that make up, in my opinion, the perfect way of remembering you wedding day. You only get married once (hopefully!). I take great pride in what I do, and being able to retell the story of someone's wedding through photos.

If you are getting married and like what your see, please do get in touch and we can meet for a coffee (and cake...) to see if my style is what you are after.
