W E D D I N G S ** Diary currently closed ** **Family bookings/newborns OPEN** Oh happiest of days, Horrah!!! You’ve done it! You’ve set a date, you’ve found your match/life partner/soul mate, the planning is in full swing! And you’ve come across my website, so hi! Weddings are just amazing. They are a day bursting with love, a bustle of activity, a union of family and friends, pretty little details, months and months, even years of dreams, all coming together on one perfect day, uniting you with the one you cherish the most. Your wedding day will come around so quickly, and all those little details, last minute alterations, will all tie up to give you the wedding you have been dreaming about. I have been photographing weddings for the last eight-and-a-bit years and it just keeps getting better and better. You will mostly find me with a huge grin plastered on my face (I have the strongest smiling muscles now!), running about, or hiding somewhere catching candid moments. I adore documentary-style photography. I think catching a belly laugh, or a tear in the eye during speeches means ten times more than a cheesey ‘SAUSAGES’ style photo. I adore weddings. I love all of it, helping the bride get ready, checking in on the groom to make sure he doesn’t get into mischief, seeing how mum and dad are feeling, getting excited just before the ceremony, watching all the hugs and kisses and the C O N F E T T I ! ! Soaking in all the details, the dresses, the flowers, the little name place tags. Hearing the speeches and laughing, as well as crying. Going off into the sunset for stolen moments and a bit of downtime, and having a bit of a boogie with all the guests as the evening draws to a close. The entire day is amazing, and I am not one to miss any of it. |

Let's meet: I think it’s super important we meet up to discuss your wedding, for me to learn about you and what makes you tick. To hear about all the plans you have made for your big day. I will be around ALL day, most of the time you wont even know I am there as I am pretty small and good at hiding, but I will still be there mingling with your guests, going off on walks with the two of you, helping the bride and girl squad get ready (it can get pretty intimate!), so you need to feel comfortable having me around. And it also shows in the photos. If you are cool with me, it will resonate in the photos. I live in a tiny village just north of Milton Keynes. I am happy to meet nearby, or chat over skype with a cuppa (or gin!) whilst sat in snuggly comfies.
Photographing your day: I don’t do posey photos. I don’t like my photo being taken. I know it’s uncomfortable for a lot of people. That’s why I offer a mini pre-wedding shoot. The kids, dog, neighbour can all tag along if it makes you feel more relaxed. It’s super short and sweet (like me!), and we just go for a walk in one of my fave little spots around Milton Keynes or somewhere fairly nearby with some woods or a bit of field (though I am happy to mix it up a bit and have managed to convince several couples that wading into a stream is a good idea. It is.). You get to keep the pics and use them as you like, but most importantly, you get to shake off those wedding photo nerves so when the day comes, you totally own it. Group photos I realise are a must for most weddings. After all, when else do you have every single person you love in your life come together in one spot? So I suggest keeping group photos to a maximum of 10, so that you can spend the day doing what you’ve planned the day for- getting married and enjoying the company of all your beautiful people! Leave me to hide in the bushes, lay on the floor, hang from a tree to capture all those little moments. I am up for anything, I mean anything. You get married once. This momentous day that you have been planning for has come, and I want to ensure you make the most of it by embracing everything the day has to offer. That includes the English weather. If it rains, great. If it’s sunny, brilliant. If it’s snowing, beautiful. If there’s a tornado, well then we had better go get in a bunker. But all of these things are part of your day. So I say, grab some wellies, hoik your dress up, sport an umbrella, and let’s go embrace that day!
