Disneyland wedding

Laura Kate and Matthew. Matthew and Laura Kate. Such a sweet story of how they have been friends since they were 16! 7 years later they realised that they were more than best friends and embarked on a journey together that would years later turn into their biggest journey to date, their wedding day! They love to travel and have been all over the world and seen so many amazing sites. They adore Disney (so just a bunch of big kids really!) and they used this joy of theirs to plan their wedding. When I first met them, I noticed how smiley and happy they were. I then noticed all the yellow. It's Laura's favourite colour and it really sums her up, bright, sweet, happy, and just beaming. On her wedding day she told me she always wanted to be a Disney Princess, and in everyone's eyes she really was. Her yellow shoes were amazing, and just the most perfect touch to her fairytale ensemble - she told me they were her 'Minnie Mouse' shoes.  Both of them were a-wash with nerves that morning, but as soon as they saw each other in that church, their eyes sparkled and their faces turned into huge smiles.

It was such a beautiful day, and all the details were hard to miss. Laura and Matthew spent so much time and energy into making their day so unique to them with all the things they love.  The string band played Walt Disney songs like When You Wish Upon a Star and Somewhere Over the Rainbow mixed with roaring bouts of laughter from the guests. Selfie sicks were left at the tables for the guests, along with little parcels labeled 'Open Me'. They are hands down, one of the sweetest, most thoughtful couples. As I drove away that evening I looked behind me and saw the amazing Chicheley Hall lit up with disco lights with the stars shining so brightly above. I had to run back and find the happy couple for one more photo....
