I was greeted with a huge beaming smile and shrieks of laughter when Kayleigh opened her door to me on the morning of her wedding day! I love the bustle and excitement that goes on when everyone is getting ready; hair and makeup was happening, people were coming in and out the house with flowers, gifts, greetings, it's just so exciting. The VW arrived from Pear Tree Weddings (Daphne, who I have photographed before!!) donned in a cadbury purple bow to match the girl's dresses, and their shoelaces!! I loved how they all had flat white little slip on shoes (so practical, and makes my job so much easier when we go off in the fields!). I left the girls in bouts of laughter when I went off to find Notley Tythe Barn which is nestled in the beautiful countryside in Long Crendon. I used to live not too far away and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside remembering all the surrounding villages as I passed through.
It wasn't long before Daniel arrived with the boys in their OWN campervan and they were just up for goofing around and having fun. The whole day was such a laugh with Kayleigh and Daniel. They were so relaxed, and we didn't spend a huge amount of time on photos as the time spent with their friends and family mattered most to them on the day. It was a joy for me to photograph such a fun crowd of people and I know they will live a life full of fun and laughter! xx
